Original oil on canvas paintings are Kis-Lev's finest works of art. painted on high quality canvas, using the best oil paints, these paintings are vibrant and majestic. All paintings are painted first with a thick layer of black paint, creating the base for the colors to come. Always interested in expanding his technique and ways of expression, Kis-Lev enjoys taking on commissions for future oil on canvas paintings. Oil on canvas paintings painted in commission always take several months up to a year for the artist to conceive. Original Mixed media painting

A mixed media painting, according to Kis-Lev, is his way of "combining a print with a real original painting while each being different and unique." The term Mixed Media indicates a mixture between an original oil painting and a Gicleé, French for a high-quality fine art digital print on canvas. Painted in small limited editions, most frequently as Artist-Proofs (A.P) or of 25 paintings in each series only, these paintings are Kis-Lev's most valued paintings following his oil on canvas paintings. Kis-Lev's original non-enhanced giclée, also called numbered giclée are limited editions prints on canvas, both numbered and signed. The term Giclée is French for a high-quality fine art digital print on canvas.
